WOODBURN, Ore. – Linfield's men's golf team delivered a solid performance at the NWC Fall Classic, held at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, Oregon. The Wildcats placed third out of nine teams, with a final score of 576, finishing at even par over the two-day event.
Leading the Wildcats was
Kellen Hudson, who secured 3rd place individually, shooting rounds of 69 and 70 to finish at five under par (139).
Ryder Ng also had a strong showing, tying for 8th place after carding a 74 in the first round and an impressive 69 in the second round to finish at one under par (143).
Other notable Linfield performances included
Douglas Bailey, who tied for 16th with a 145, and
Zack LaPlaca, who tied for 25th at 149.
Alex Salinas rounded out the team, finishing in 31st place with a score of 152.
Willamette University claimed the team title with a score of 562 at 14 under par, while Whitman College finished second at 567 and nine under par.
