McMINNVILLE, Ore. –
Jack Greenwood's new career-high 13 points wasn't enough for the Wildcats as they fell to visiting Puget Sound 73-58 on Saturday evening at Ted Wilson Gymnasium.

Jake Downing also finished in double figures with 10 points.
Jackson Dupree grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. Dupree has grabbed double-digit rebounds in three straight contests. Linfield shot 38 percent on 50 attempts and knocked down 8-18 shots from behind the arc.

Taj Phillips finished with a game-high 16 points followed by teammates Liam Ruttledge and Ian Cook with 11 apiece. Puget Sound tallied 28 bench points compared to Linfield's 17 and outscored the Wildcats 21-7 in points off turnovers.

Phillips' 12 points charged Puget Sound to a 39-25 first-half lead. The Loggers outshot the Wildcats in the first 20 minutes, 48 percent compared to 29. Downing and
Garrett Callsen led Linfield with six points each at the break.

The Loggers continued to add to their lead in the second half, getting up by as much as 20. The Wildcats improved shooting from 29 percent to 52 couldn't bring the home side within single digits as visiting Puget Sound led wire to wire.
