The Linfield University softball team will remain on its home field for the best-of-three Super Regional playoff series, Friday and Saturday, May 26-27. The NCAA on Saturday confirmed Linfield's Del Smith Stadium as one of eight Super Regional host sites. 

Fresh from a three-game sweep of the Redlands Bulldogs at the McMinnville Regional, the Wildcats (44-4) will host the Bethel University Royals (36-3).

Game 1 is tentatively set for Friday at 2 p.m. Game 2 will follow Saturday at 1 p.m. Game 3, if necessary, will be played Saturday 3:30 p.m. The winner advances to the NCAA Championships, June 1-7, at Marshall, Texas.

A two-time national champion in 2007 and 2011, Linfield is set to serve as host for the Super Regional round for just the second time in its history.
