Linfield's Northwest Conference doubleheader against the Puget Sound Loggers on Saturday was called off when rain swept through the Tacoma area.

The Wildcats built a 4-2 lead through four complete innings before the umpires signaled for a rain delay. It was later determined that the game would be suspended and Saturday's Game 2 would be postponed until a later day.

As of Saturday afternoon, no makeup date had been determined. Linfield already faces a busy week ahead with games scheduled Wednesday and Thursday against Whitworth in Spokane, Saturday at home versus Pacific, and Sunday against Pacific in Forest Grove.
