Grayce Miller has 20 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers to her name on the young season.
Caity Babcock has made 30 saves in five appearances and two starts.
PACIFIC AT A GLANCE
The Boxers opened their season with a 16-4 win over Multnomah on Feb. 16 but have since lost five straight games. Devyn Davis has 10 goals and a team-leading three assists. Sarah Pokorny has matched Davis' three assists to go with seven goals of her own. Taylor Alcaire is right behind Davis with nine goals. Amelia Haindl has played every minute in goal for the Boxers, entering the week with 79 saves and a 14.17 goals against average.
PUGET SOUND AT A GLANCE
The Loggers picked up their first win of the season last week, pulling off an 11-9 win over Whitworth in Spokane. They outscored the Pirates, 7-3, in the second half to pull away. Abby Stranahan's 11 goals, four assists and 16 draw controls lead the attack. Cat Schilli is second on the team with seven goals. Olivia Almy has started in all three games in goal, but Phoebe Crowther has logged more minutes off the bench, entering the week with a 1-1 record and 22 saves.
HISTORY
Linfield and Pacific have met 32 times. The Wildcats are 13-19 against the Boxers, averaging 11.3 goals per game. The 'Cats are looking to make it an even 8-8 record against the Boxers in away games. They're riding an eight-game win streak dating back to the 2018 season. The 'Cats took both meetings in 2022, winning 17-4 in McMinnville and 18-7 in Forest Grove.
Linfield is 14-27 in the all-time series with Puget Sound. Six of those wins came at home. The 'Cats won seven of the last eight meetings. The Loggers claimed a 17-11 win in McMinnville in the first matchup of the 2022 season. The 'Cats came back in the second round to beat the Loggers in double overtime on the road by a score of 13-12.
Linfield will continue a four-game homestand on Monday, hosting Carroll University (Wis.) at 6 p.m. at the Linfield Lacrosse and Soccer Complex. This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
