Young Cats Club resumes with Cheer and Dance event Jan. 21

The Linfield Cheer and Dance teams are hosting a special Young Cats Club session in association with the Saturday, January 21, women's basketball game versus Whitworth.

The event is free, including admission to the basketball game for all kids, 12 and under, and accompanying parents. Participants will learn and practice a simple cheer and dance routine before performing it live at halftime of the basketball game. All kids will receive a free Young Cats Club t-shirt and autograph book.

Participants should arrive at Ted Wilson Gym by 2:30 p.m. to begin learning the routine. Game time is 4 o'clock. The gym is located at Linfield Avenue and Lever Street on the Linfield campus.

The purpose of the Young Cats Club program is to invite area youngsters to experience in person what it's like to interact with college student-athletes and attend a Linfield athletic event. The McMinnville office of Goldman Sachs Financial Planning and Your Space Storage are again sponsoring the Young Cats Club series during the 2022-23 academic year.

No preregistration is necessary. For more information, contact sportsinfo@linfield.edu.
