McMINNVILLE, Ore. – She started her collegiate career at the Division I level, but ever since arriving at Linfield, Baily Paul has embodied the Division III philosophy as the senior right fielder was selected to the 2021-22 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 8 Team, announced Thursday.

A transfer from Seattle University, Paul is the lone representative for Linfield and the Northwest Conference. Entering the NCAA Division III Regionals, Paul leads the Wildcats with a .427 batting average and a .543 on-base percentage. The Gig Harbor, Washington, native has racked up 56 hits, 47 runs and 32 RBI, ranking second on the team with 81 total bases. Her senior campaign also includes 11 doubles, four triples, two home runs, 23 walks, 10 hit by pitches and a team-leading 27 stolen bases. She stole a season-high three bags on two occasions this spring.
