HILLSBORO, Ore. – One led her team to its second tournament win of the spring while the other recorded a career-best in the high jump. For their performances, Linfield's Raegan Barr and Jerrica Pachl were named NWC Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Barr was named the NWC Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week after she led Linfield women's golf to the team title at the Spring Trilogy 3, hosted by Willamette on Saturday at the McNary Golf Club. She earned medalist honors, finishing in first place with a single-round score of 13-over-par 85, five strokes ahead of second-place Olivia Weaver of Lewis & Clark. The Wildcats finished atop the team leaderboard by 41 strokes with a final score of 385 in their first tournament in 18 days.
 
The NWC Women's Field Student-Athlete of the Week, Pachl was the clear winner in the high jump at Linfield's Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational. Her leap of 5 feet, 6 inches was a personal best and edged out the next closest competitor by 3 ¾ inches. Pachl also ran the second leg on the Wildcats' winning 4x400-meter relay team that finished nearly nine seconds ahead of runner-up Whitworth at 4:05.22.
 
Linfield women's golf continues its season on Saturday at the NWC Spring Classic at the Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Washington. The Wildcats' track & field team will be competing at George Fox's Rich Allen Classic on Saturday in Newberg, Oregon.
