The Linfield men's basketball team looks to continue its hot streak in Northwest Conference play and extend its six-game winning streak. The Wildcats will take on Pacific at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night at the Boxers' Stoller Center before returning home on Friday to host George Fox at Ted Wilson Gymnasium. Tipoff for the 'Cats and Bruins is also set for 8 p.m.

Linfield enters the week in a three-way tie for first place in the Northwest Conference standings with Whitworth and Pacific Lutheran with a 10-2 NWC mark (15-5 overall). Pacific is 8-13 overall and 4-8 in NWC play while George Fox is in fifth place with a 5-7 NWC mark (10-11 overall).

Junior Jacob Bolger leads the way and ranks seventh in the NWC with 15.6 points per game on 57.3 percent shooting. Senior Mario Mora is averaging 12.3 points per game while fellow senior Jared Cattell is scoring 11.1 points per game. Junior Ethan Chung is also scoring in double figures with 10.5 points per game. Mora leads the NWC with 59 three-pointers made.

The Bruins have dropped three straight games. They're averaging 75.9 points per game while allowing 75.2. Senior Zac Schmerber leads the way on offense with 13.8 points per game, connecting on 50 percent from the field, 48.4 percent from beyond the arc and 90.2 percent from the free throw line. Freshman Momo Stokes is putting up 11.3 points per game while junior Davon Walker isn't far behind with 10.9 points per game. Senior Kalu Stricklin leads the Bruins with 5.8 rebounds per game and 16 blocks.

Linfield and Pacific have met 110 times with the 'Cats winning 73 of those games. The 'Cats are 29-24 against the Boxers in Forest Grove and have won nine of the last 10 matchups. The first meeting of the season was a thriller as the 'Cats won 95-87 in double overtime on Jan. 11 at Ted Wilson Gymnasium.
