CLAREMONT, Calif. – Pomona-Pitzer collected 15 hits for the second straight game as the Sagehens swept the Linfield baseball team with a 9-0 win Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field.
The Wildcats held Pomona-Pitzer scoreless through three innings before the Sagehens got on the board with an unearned run on a single to left field by Jack Damelio. The Sagehens scored three more in the fifth on back-to-back RBI doubles by Isaac Kim and JC Ng and an RBI single by Ryan Nishi. They tacked on two more runs in the seventh and three more in the eighth.
Kim went 4 for 5 with four runs and two RBI while Ng went 2 for 4 with a walk, a run and four RBI. Damelio finished 2 for 3 while Caleb Millikan and Nishi both went 2 for 4.

Jacob Campos and senior left fielder
Ryan Kamp both went 1 for 3.
Freshman lefty
Jackson Koons took the loss in his first career start. He tossed four innings, allowing one unearned run on five hits with two strikeouts. Jake Hilton picked up the win for the Sagehens, allowing three hits while striking out eight in 7.2 innings. Eric Prough went the rest of the way and didn't allow a hit while walking one and striking out one.

The 'Cats (2-4) will return home to host Puget Sound in their first Northwest Conference series of the season. The series begins with a doubleheader at noon on Saturday, Feb. 19.
