The Boxers are coming off a pair of losses in eastern Washington last week, losing 3-0 to Whitman before falling to Whitworth by a score of 1-0. The scoring department is led by six goals from Mirella Garcia. Ivette Garcia-Gomez and Rhyah Jackson have been the team's second and third options with three goals apiece. Kylie Pascual has played every minute in goal this season, posting a 4-7-3 record and a 1.87 GAA. She leads the NWC with 65 saves.
HISTORY
Linfield is 23-25-8 in the all-time series with George Fox. Fifteen of those wins came in McMinnville. The 'Cats are averaging 1.43 goals per match against their rivals from Newberg. Linfield won 15 of the last 26 meetings, eight of which were ties. The first meeting of the 2022 season ended in a 1-1 draw on Oct. 1 in Newberg.
Linfield leads the all-time series with Pacific with a 30-21-6 record against the Boxers. The 'Cats own a winning record of 13-11-4 in Forest Grove. The 'Cats took eight of the last 12 matchups. The in-state foes tied 1-1 on Oct. 2 in McMinnville in the first half of NWC play.
