Wildcats to play at Pacific, host Puget Sound

THE RECORDS
Entering the week, Linfield is 1-6-1 overall and 0-4-0 in Northwest Conference play. Pacific is 3-4-0 on the season with a 1-3-0 NWC record. Puget Sound is 7-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in conference play. The Loggers were tabbed just ahead of the Wildcats in the No. 2 spot in the NWC Preseason Coaches Poll while the Boxers were picked eighth.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are averaging 0.75 goals and 9.63 shots per game and lead the Northwest Conference with 7.63 saves per game. Junior forward Laney Green is the team's leading scorer with three goals and ranks fourth in the NWC with 2.38 shots per game. The Boxers are averaging 0.71 goals and 8.3 shots per game. Freshman Tessa Bretschieder leads the team with two goals, four points and 12 shots, five on goal. Senior Nadya Ortiz scored the golden goal in overtime in a 1-0 win at Willamette on Sept. 19. Sophomore Catherine Corlett is 2-4-0 in goal with a 0.80 goals against average, which ranks fifth in the Northwest Conference.
 
PUGET SOUND AT A GLANCE
The Loggers have only allowed one goal in their eight matches, leading the Northwest Conference with seven shutouts and ranking third with 13.38 shots per game. Senior Genny Jilka and junior Radhika Webster Schultz lead the team with three goals apiece. Junior Ava Cholakian is second in the NWC with 2.50 shots per game. Junior Chaylea Tome has played every minute in goal this fall, posting a 7-0-1 record with seven shutouts and a conference-leading 0.12 goals against average.
 
HISTORY
Linfield leads the 54-match series with Pacific with a 30-20-4 record against the Boxers. The 'Cats are 13-11-3 in Forest Grove and have won the last six meetings. The 'Cats won both matches in the abbreviated spring season, 1-0.
