PORTLAND, Ore. – The Linfield volleyball team picked up its fourth win and its first sweep of the season against Mills on Saturday at Lewis & Clark's Pamplin Sports Center.
The Wildcats toppled the Cyclones in straight sets, dominating all three sets by scores of 25-8, 25-14 and 25-8. The 'Cats finished with 31 kills, 22 aces, 27 assists, 36 digs and three blocks while holding the Cyclones to just 12 kills and 11 assists.

Maddie Broyhill led the 'Cats with seven kills, five aces and 10 digs to go with a .316 hitting percentage. Freshman defensive specialist

Yssa Alcones also filled in to bolster the Linfield defensive effort.
"Maddie did a fantastic job being a leader on the court," second-year head coach
Haley Domeck said. "Terra was a strong server for us and led the team in aces. Yssa stepped into the libero role for us last match and continued to be a consistent force on defense. Her passing and ability to read the court is a huge asset."

Brooklin Champion also contributed five kills apiece. Crawford finished with a .308 hitting percentage while Champion had an .833 hitting percentage.

Aylea Dixon led the 'Cats with 13 assists to go with three aces and a pair of digs while sophomore setter
Mia Naccarato finished with 11 assists and six digs.
Mills' Joyce Kuehn, Noely Bautista and Bronwynn Porath finished in a three-way tie for the team lead with three kills. Madison Mimoun led the Cyclones with 14 digs.
"I am proud of our team for staying focused throughout the match, communicating on and off the court and finishing strong," Domeck said. "We were able to see a number of student-athletes contribute to this match and they did a fantastic job."

Linfield (4-2) has won back-to-back matches for the second time this season. The 'Cats will look to make it three straight wins as they open conference play at Willamette on Wednesday.
