The Linfield men's basketball team is one of the best offensive units in the country during the shortened 2021 spring season and takes on the Willamette Bearcats for a non-conference home-and-home series this weekend.

The Wildcats are shooting 56.1 percent from the field as a team this season, which is the best in the country, their scoring average of 97.8 points per game is second and their assists per game average of 21.5 is third. Linfield has won seven straight and is 7-1 with four games left this season.

Dempsey Roggenbuck is averaging 30 points per game this season, which is second in the country. His field goal percentage of 0.640 leads the Northwest Conference and is 17
th in the nation.
Will Burghardt is scoring 15.6 points per game and shooting 60 percent from the field, which is second in the NWC.
Max Lommen is third in the conference with a 57.7 field goal percentage.

Aaron Baune is grabbing 6.5 rebounds and
Matt Berger is grabbing 6.4 rebounds per game.

Willamette opted out of NWC competition in football and basketball this spring, thus the games this weekend do not affect conference standings. Linfield has won nine straight meetings over Willamette, who holds a 57-50 lead in the all-time series.

The Bearcats have just four regular season games on the schedule this season. They lost to the George Fox Bruins 78-58 on April 1 and play the Bruins again on April 24. Willamette went 1-24 last season and 0-16 in conference games.

Jack Boydell had 20 points in the game against George Fox, Daniel Plumer had 11 and Joshua Perez had 10. Boydell also led the team with 11 rebounds, Paul McSlarrow had six rebounds.
