The 2021 spring season ends this week for the Linfield volleyball team this week. The Wildcats host the Willamette Bearcats on Thursday. The two teams meet again Friday night in Salem. Start time is 7 p.m. on both nights.
SENIOR NIGHT
Following tonight's match, the Wildcats will hold a pre-match ceremony for two graduating seniors,
Regan Dean and
Tessa Doerfler.

LINFIELD
The Wildcats are 0-6 thus far this season under first-year coach
Haley Doerfler. Linfield is averaging 9.7 kills per set and 15.2 digs per set, it also has 29 aces and 17 total blocks.
Raelynn Hammock is fifth in the Northwest Conference with 3.19 kills per set. She is also 13
th in the NWC with 3.14 digs per set.
Maya Nakasone is averaging 2.95 digs per set and Doerfler is averaging 2.43.
On the offensive side, Dean is second on the team with 2.33 kills per set. Setter
Aylea Dixon has 6.9 assists per set.
Seraiah Ochse has six total blocks,
McKenzie Brock and
Ellie Mead have five each.
WILLAMETTE
The Bearcats are 1-4 in the conference-only schedule. Willamette's lone victory came in five sets over George Fox last Friday. Statiscially, Willamette is second in the conference with 12.88 kills per set and leads the NWC with 19.32 digs per set.
Natalie Klotz is the team and conference leader with four kills per set. Primary setter Emma Porter is second with 9.64 assists per set. Shyla Sato is second with 5.86 digs per set. Arianna Khan is ninth in the NWC with 3.45 digs per set. Kyana Benjamin has 16 total blocks.
Willamette has won the last five matches and leads the all-time head-to-head series 29-26. Linfield's most recent win was a 3-0 triumph on September 15, 2017.
