The Linfield volleyball team returns to Ted Wilson Gym on Friday evening at 6 p.m. to host the George Fox Bruins. The two teams play in Newberg on Thursday at 6 p.m.

THE WILDCATS
After four matches, Linfield is still in search of its first win under rookie coach

Raelynn Hammock is averaging 3.36 kills per set, which is fourth in the Northwest Conference. Setter
Aylea Dixon is seventh in the NWC with 6.38 assists per set.
Defensive specialists
Tessa Doerfler and
Maya Nakasone are among the top-20 players in the conference with digs-per-set averages of 2.64 and 2.57, respectively. Hammock is 13
th with an average of 2.93 digs per set.
Middle blocker
McKenzie Brock leads the team with 0.50 blocks per set,
Ellie Mead is second on the team with an average of 0.44 blocks per set.
THE BRUINS
George Fox has played into a fifth set in all of three of its conference matches. The Bruins are 1-3 overall and 1-2 in NWC play under reigning Northwest Conference Coach of the Year, Emily Davis.
Statistically, the Bruins' hitting percentage of .199 stands second in the conference. They lead the NWC with 13.44 kills per set as a team and are also second in the conference with 18.9 digs per set.
Bailey LeBraton has the top hitting percentage in the conference (.387) and is fifth with 3.28 kills per set. Sophia Lawrence (4.56) and Laney Search (4.44) have top-five digs per set averages in the conference.
The Bruins have won six straight meetings and lead the all-time head-to-head series 29-23.
