Wildcats enter non-conference stretch against Piedmont

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week at 4-2 overall with a 2-0 record in Northwest Conference play after picking up a pair of wins over Puget Sound and Lewis & Clark last week. Piedmont is 3-1 overall and has not yet opened conference play in the USA South. This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats needed a game-winning layup by senior guard Dempsey Roggenbuck to top Puget Sound in their NWC opener. They turned around to topple Lewis & Clark by 27 points the following day. Roggenbuck is the team's leading scorer with 20.2 points per game, shooting 49.5 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from three-point range and 88.9 percent from the free throw line. 
 
Senior forward Aaron Baune is averaging 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He dropped a season-high 25 points against Lewis & Clark. Senior guard Max Lommen is averaging 13.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and leads the 'Cats with 11 steals. Freshman point guard Trey Bryant leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per game and 23 assists while also averaging double figures with 10.3 points per game.
 
PIEDMONT AT A GLANCE
The Lions are averaging 76 points per game while allowing 71.3 points per game. Five players are averaging double digits. Senior Jordan Foote is almost averaging a double-double with 17.5 points and nine rebounds per game. Fellow senior Justin Quick is averaging 13 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 57.9 percent shooting. Junior Orry Clements-Owens is averaging 12.5 points per game and leads the team with nine three-pointers.
