Wildcats hit the road for Walla Walla, Spokane

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week in eighth place at 1-7-2 overall and 0-5-1 in Northwest Conference play. Whitman is 0-8-1 overall with a 0-6-0 NWC mark while Whitworth is 5-3-2 overall and 2-2-2 in conference play. 
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are averaging 0.80 goals and 8.80 shots per game while leading the Northwest Conference with 6.80 saves per game. Junior forward Laney Green is the team's leading scorer with three goals and seven points. She is tied for third in the NWC with 2.20 shots per game. Senior defender Ashley Guldager has two goals and an assist on the season and leads the 'Cats with 866 minutes played. Guldager and senior goalkeeper Alyssa Bakkensen have started all 10 matches for the 'Cats. Bakkensen leads the NWC with 6.30 saves per game.

The Blues have scored just one goal in their nine matches and rank ninth in the Northwest Conference with 6.44 shots per game. Sophomore Lise Arrouye scored the lone goal for the Blues in a 2-1 home loss to Willamette on Sept. 25. Freshman Molly Beaulieu is one of three Blues to start all nine matches and was credited with the assist on Arrouye's goal. Sophomore Hanna Lynch is 0-3-1 in goal and leads the team with a 1.33 goals against average.
 
WHITWORTH AT A GLANCE
The Pirates are averaging 1.40 goals and 12 shots per game and rank third in the Northwest Conference with 0.80 goals allowed per game. Senior Gabriella Coprivnicar and junior Macey Morales each have two goals and two assists on the season while senior Ireland Eaton and junior Kendall Sharp also have two goals. Junior Kate Nelson is 5-3-2 in goal with five shutouts, 5.30 saves per game and a 0.77 goals against average, which ranks fourth in the NWC. 
 
HISTORY
Linfield and Whitman have met 51 times. The Wildcats lead the series with a 27-20-4 record and have won the last eight meetings and nine out of the last 10. The 'Cats are 13-11-1 on the road against the Blues. The 'Cats swept the season series in 2019, winning by scores of 3-0 and 1-0.
