'Cats welcome Boxers, play at Loggers in NWC play

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week with a 3-11-2 overall record and a 2-9-1 Northwest Conference mark. Pacific enters at 5-9-1 overall and 3-8-1 in NWC play. The Boxers sit in seventh place while the Wildcats are right behind in eighth. Puget Sound sits atop the NWC standings at 14-0-2 overall and 10-0-2 in conference play.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are averaging 0.88 goals per game and rank second in the Northwest Conference with 5.65 saves per game. Junior forward Laney Green and senior defender Ashley Guldager lead the team with four goals apiece. Green is tied for third in the NWC with 34 shots while Guldager scored her four goals on six shots, five on goal. Senior goalkeeper Alyssa Bakkensen has 63 saves on the season while sophomore goalkeeper Emma Mulligan has 27 saves in six matches.

Freshman Tessa Bretschieder leads the team with four goals on 17 shots while seniors Lydia King and Nadya Ortiz have two goals each. Sophomore Mikayla Farrow ranks tied for sixth in the NWC with three assists. Sophomore Catherine Corlett is 4-9-1 in goal with 63 saves and a 1.04 goals against average.
 
PUGET SOUND AT A GLANCE
The Loggers have allowed just three goals in their 16 matches, shutting out 13 opponents along the way, including nine in Northwest Conference play. They lead the NWC with a .945 save percentage and a 0.19 goals against average. The Loggers have nine goal scorers, led by senior Kylee Roath and junior Radhika Webster Schultz, who rank tied for fifth in the NWC with six goals each. Senior Genny Jilka has five goals on the season while junior Ava Cholakian is second in the conference with five assists. Junior Chaylea Tome is 14-0-2 in goal and leads the NWC with 12 shutouts, a .942 save percentage and a 0.18 goals against average.
 
HISTORY
Linfield and Pacific have met 55 times with the Wildcats leading the series with a 30-20-5 record. The Wildcats are 17-9-1 against the Boxers at home and 30-19-5 in Northwest Conference play. The Wildcats and Boxers tied, 1-1, in Forest Grove in the first meeting of the season on Sept. 29.
 
Linfield and Puget Sound have met 51 times. The Loggers own a commanding lead in the series with a 41-5-5 record. The Wildcats are 2-22-2 against the Loggers in Tacoma. The Loggers have won four straight meetings, including a 2-1 win in the first half of Northwest Conference play on Oct. 3 in McMinnville.
