'Cats clash with Pioneers, Boxers for first time this season

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week with a 4-14 overall record and a 0-12 record in Northwest Conference play. Lewis & Clark is 6-9 overall and sits in a tie with George Fox in fifth place with a 5-7 NWC mark. Pacific is 6-10 with a 6-6 conference record to sit in fourth place.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats are averaging 10.87 kills per set and rank third in the Northwest Conference with 1.88 aces per set. Junior outside hitter Raelynn Hammock leads the team and ranks third in the NWC with 3.54 kills per set and 31 aces. Hammock also leads the team with 3.20 digs per set. Junior setter Aylea Dixon is averaging 7.77 assists per set while junior middle blocker Ellie Mead has 42 blocks on the season.

The Pioneers rank second in the Northwest Conference with 1.93 aces per set while also ranking third with 12.10 kills and 10.85 assists per set with a .191 team hitting percentage. Sophomore Izzy Willis is the team's leading scorer and is fifth in the NWC with 3.35 kills per set. Willis also leads the team with a .261 hitting percentage. Senior Michelle McGinn is sixth in the conference with 7.45 assists per set while sophomore Katie Shimaura has racked up 223 digs.

PACIFIC AT A GLANCE
The Boxers rank second in the Northwest Conference with 17.19 digs per set and fifth with 11.70 kills and 10.70 assists per set and a .167 hitting percentage. Freshman Mara Murphy leads the team offensively with 3.17 kills per set, which is sixth in the NWC. Senior Elika Unti is fourth in the NWC with a .315 hitting percentage. Junior Shaianne Cambra ranks second with 9.46 assists per set while senior Haley Walz is third with 5.25 digs per set.

HISTORY
Linfield and Lewis & Clark have met 57 times. The Wildcats lead the series with a 41-16 record. The 'Cats are 37-16 against the Pioneers in Northwest Conference play and 21-6 at home. The Pioneers have won seven straight meetings as the first matchup of the season on Oct. 1 was canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Linfield and Pacific have met 56 times. The Wildcats lead the series with a 39-17 record. The 'Cats are 19-6 against the Boxers at home, but the Boxers have won nine of the last 10 meetings. The 'Cats dropped the first meeting of the season after their Oct. 2 match was canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
