Wildcats host Pirates, Blues in final homestand

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week with a 1-12-2 overall record and a 0-9-2 Northwest Conference mark. Whitworth sits in fourth place in the NWC standings at 7-7-1 overall and 6-5-0 in conference play while Whitman is in third place at 11-4-0 overall with a 7-4-0 NWC record.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats tied with Pacific and lost to George Fox last week and lead the Northwest Conference with 6.73 saves per game. Freshman midfielder Seamus Miller is the team's leading scorer with four goals and leads the NWC with 3.67 shots per game. Junior forward Cesar Cruz-Espindola and junior midfielder Romario Mendoza have two goals and one assist apiece. Junior goalkeeper Julian Inches leads the NWC with 5.73 saves per game.

The Pirates rank third in the Northwest Conference with 28 goals and 19 assists. Eight players have scored goals this season. Freshman Beckett Arthur leads the NWC with 12 goals while sophomore Dominic Gusman ranks second with seven. Gusman is also tied for fourth with five assists. Junior Bo Broyles is 5-3-1 in goal with 41 saves and a 2.19 goals against average, which is seventh in the conference.

WHITMAN AT A GLANCE
The Blues lead the Northwest Conference with 15.80 shots per game and rank second with 37 goals, 22 assists and 96 points. Senior Oscar Harding leads the team and is tied for third in the NWC with six goals while fellow senior Jacob Barsher and freshman Noa Taylor have five goals each. Harding leads the conference with eight assists. Freshman Colby Ramsey is 8-3-0 in goal with 20 saves and a 0.94 goals against average, which ranks second in the NWC.

HISTORY
Linfield and Whitworth have met 51 times with the Pirates leading the series with a 31-12-8 record. The Wildcats are 7-14-3 against the Pirates at home. The Pirates snapped a four-match winning streak by the 'Cats in their first meeting of the season, winning 6-1 on Sept. 19 in Spokane.

Linfield and Whitman have met 49 times. The Wildcats lead the series with a 24-23-2 record. The two teams have split their meetings in McMinnville at 11-11-1, but the Blues have won seven straight matchups. The Blues won the first meeting of the season, 5-1, on Sept. 18 in Walla Walla.
