TACOMA, Wash. – After a week on playing non-conference opponents the Wildcats traveled to Pacific Lutheran to take on the Lutes on Saturday, April 6
th in a 4:00 p.m. match. Linfield took down PLU 7-2 and improve to 2-2 in Northwest Conference play and 6-5 overall.
The Wildcats started out ahead as they won two of the three doubles' points to start the match.
Nathan Saragoza and
Luis Rojas battled and earned their 8-7 win at the number one position. The duo of
Cameron Ventura and
Trent Prussing also won their doubles match with a score of 8-3.
Linfield carried that momentum in their singles matches as they won five of the six matches.
Trent Prussing picked up the first singles' win for the Wildcats with a 6-2, 6-2 score. His win was followed by a 6-2, 6-2 win from
Nathan Saragoza.. The Lutes picked up a win at the number four position, but
Jacob Mangan clinched the win for the Wildcats shortly after with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the number six position.

th for an 11:00 a.m. match.
