Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Back-to-back wins for the Wildcats

TACOMA, Wash. – Wanting to get back-to-back Northwest Conference wins and improve to over .500 in conference play the Wildcats took on the Loggers of Puget Sound on Sunday, April 7th in Tacoma. Linfield had a dominate performance as they took down Puget Sound 9-0.

Coach Belletto's Thoughts
"We accomplished our goals of being aggressive in doubles and working to lead 3-0 after doubles. In singles, Jake was efficient and focused to get us our first point. Thomas Foy played a really great match today stepping into the lineup and clinching the match. I'm very proud of the way he competed," said head coach Ben Belletto.

The Wildcats started out strong as they won all three of the doubles' points. The duo of Nathan Saragoza and Luis Rojas dominated at the number one position picking up an 8-1 win. Trent Prussing and Cameron Ventura continue to play well at the number two doubles position as they grab another win.

Linfield was able to carry their momentum into their singles matches as they won all six of those as well. At the number six position Thomas Foy picked up his first win of the season with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Luis Rojas and Jacob Mangan also had dominate performances in their matches.
