FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Coming off of a two-match winning streak the Wildcats traveled up to Holce Tennis Center to take on the Boxers of Pacific. Linfield did not get the results that they had hoped to as they fell to Pacific 9-0.
Pacific took an early lead as they won all three of the double's points. The duo of
Nathan Saragoza and
Luis Rojas had the most competitive match as they dropped the number one double's match 6-8.
Saragoza also had one of the more competitive singles matches as he fell 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) at the number two position.
Eric Rutherford also had a gritty match at the number six position but was not able to collect the win as he fell 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5).
