Linfield falls in NWC opener to Lewis and Clark

Box Score PORTLAND, ORE. – After only a few weeks separating their competitions the Wildcats traveled to Lewis and Clark to take on the Pioneers in a conference match up this time. Although the 'Cats played better than the last time to the two squared off Linfield fell 6-3 in Portland.
 
The duo of Trent Prussing and Cameron Ventrua picked up the Wildcats lone doubles win as they took down Riley Vickers and Ryan Hayes 8-7 at the number three position.
 
Luis Rojas was the 'Cats lone singles win last time the two teams met up and he would beat Brendan Adams for the second time with a score of 6-1, 5-7, 6-0. At the number six position Blake Fuentes Gilbert as also able to grab a win for the Wildcats.
 
Next  
Linfield will be back in action on March 9th and 10th as they host Whitman and Whitworth. Saturday's match will begin at 11:00 a.m. while Sunday's will be at 10:00 a.m.
