NEWBERG, Ore. – Wildcats finish the Oregon Trail Classic with a perfect record, only dropping one set all tournament.
Illinois Tech
Linfield dropped game one of the match against Illinois Tech, but were able to bounce back and take the momentum back.
Anikalea Kelliiheleua had a stand out performance pounding down 13 kills,
Audrey Hyem delivered 10 kills to help the Wildcats overpower the Scarlet Hawks.
Mattie Kelly continues to deal as she had 28 assists and dug five balls to aid the Wildcats' cause. Linfield's libero
Taylor Souza scooped up 16 digs while adding three assists.
Tessa Doerfler also contributed on the defensive side of things collecting 11 digs.
Johnson & Wales
Taylor Petersen and
Brianna Sanford had 10 kills apiece, while
Anikalea Keliiheleua adds nine for Linfield against Johnson & Wales.
Mattie Kelly dished out 21 assists and four digs,
Destyni Grace added 15 assists and 11 digs in the Wildcats victory. On the back-line
Taylor Souza picked up 16 digs.
The Wildcats hit for a percentage of .319.
