How it played out

Alex Jensen and put the ball past Hollins goalie Delaney Waller. It was the first of nine straight Linfield points.
Hollins gained possession of the next draw control and moved to the Linfield half of the field but Wildcats netminder
Kylee Duey made a save off the shot of Madi Szurley.
Linfield applied pressure all over the pitch, creating turnovers and controlling the tempo. The 'Cats ran plays deep into the shot clock, producing excellent scoring opportunities.

Linfield's 12 assists ranks fourth in program histoyr behind the record of 16 set in 2007. The 40 shots taken stands as fifth-best alltime. The team's 43 ground balls are fourth while the 20 draw controls tied for third.
With her three assists, Cole equaled the single-match standard.
Hughes made two other all time lists with her 5 caused turnovers being tied for 3rd all time and her 10 ground balls tied for fourth.
Coach's comments
Linfield coach
Brittany Hartmann said she was proud of her team's effort.
"We played as a team and set up so many assists today. It was beautiful," she said. "We tried for the (scoring) record but couldn't quite get it."
Hartmann noted that nearly every field player on the squad has scored at least one goal this season, which in the coach's words is, "Pretty awesome."
