REDLANDS, CALIF. – Looking to bounce back after falling in their season opener to Redlands. The 'Cats took on took on Chapman at 5:00 p.m. in Currier Gymnasium in their second game of the Redlands Tip-off Classic.

Kory Oleson managed to score a team high of 20 points and pull down nine rebounds. Counter-part
Molly Danielson added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats. Danielson and
Cassidy Schutz were both perfect from the free-throw line and as a team the 'Cats were 15-20.
Panthers' box score
Chapman was led by Lucy Criswell who was 10 of 20 from the field and was 3 of 10 from behind the arc totaling to game-high of 24 points. Jaryn Fajardo added 13 points and seven rebounds while Marissa Dunn had 12 points and six rebounds for the Panthers.
The Wildcats were able to keep the rest of the Panthers squad to 17 points spread between five different players. Chapman was seven for 11 from the free throw line and 27-58 from the field.
1st Half
Chapman scored first and would keep the lead the entire first half.
Cameron Reuter was able to cut the Panthers lead to just three points by making back to back free-throws with 35 seconds left to play. The Panthers went on a nine-point run late in the second quarter to lead the 'Cats by 14 points. Oleson knocked down two free-throws to put an end to the Wildcats scoring drought. Chapman's Julia Strand knocked down a free-throw with nine seconds left in the half to make the score 28-15.
2nd Half
The Panthers hit a three to kick off the second half and continued to roll from there, to take a 47-27 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Linfield went on a six-point run in the beginning of the fourth to cut the margin to 16 points.
Kory Oleson's three pointer with 21 seconds left in the competition was the last points either team would score. The Wildcats outscored the Panthers 25-19 in the fourth quarter.
