SPOKANE, WASH. – Looking to pick up back to back road wins the Linfield was unable to get by Whitworth.
 
The Pirates got on the board in the 10^th minute when Kelly Wucherer sent a cross to Coby Yoshimura who was able to head the ball into the back of the net.  Neither the 'Cats or the Pirates would score until the 86^th minute when Whitworth solidified the game when Arielle Van Peursem took a shot from 12 yards out and found the back of the net.
 
Linfield had plenty of opportunities as the produced 14 shots with four of them being on goal, but unfortunately was not able to find the back of the net.

The Wildcats will travel to Forest Grove on November 2^nd to take on Pacific at 4:30 p.m. then will host Puget Sound on November 4^th in their final game of the season.
