Kuehn and Colleknon were key in 'Cats win over Pioneers

McMINNVILLLE, ORE. – With today's win over Lewis and Clark the Wildcats improve to 8-3-4 and 5-2-4 in Northwest Conference play. Linfield has scored three or more goals in four matches this season.
 
In the 19th minute Sydeny Kuehn got the Wildcats on the board first as she took a cross from Michayla Sponsel from six yard out and buried it into the back of the goal.
 
Kuehn would pick up her eighth goal of the season and second of the game when she took a shot from 10 yard out off of a cross from Ashley Guldager and found the back of the net in the 57th minute. Amidee Colleknon got in on the scoring action in the 71st minute when she received a pass from Sponsel and buried it into the back of the net to extend Linfield's lead to 3-0.
 
The Wildcats were able to get off 12 shots with six of them being goal compared to the Pioneers eight shots and two on goal. 
 
Coming into today's match Kuehn was tied for second in the NWC for goals with six and fifth in points with 12.  Madi Reimer is also ranks in the top for the NWC as she is fourth in goal against average with .68 and fourth in save percentage with .831.
 
Next
The Wildcats will travel to Pacific Lutheran for a noon match up on Sunday, October 21st.
