Linfield University Athletics

Tim Hess is in his fourth year as a volunteer assistant coach.
 
He is a former collegiate wrestler at Chabot College in the San Francisco Bay area and at Humboldt State University in northern California. He holds a master’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science.
 
Hess taught and coached wrestling in the Newark Unified School District for more than three decades.
 
He has been a representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and a Character Coach since 2020.
