Assistant certified athletic training Kaylie Bansen is in her fourth year as a member of the Linfield sports medicine staff. She provides day-to-day coverage for the men’s soccer, wrestling, women's tennis and track & field programs while assisting with the needs of all student-athletes in the Treatment Center.
Bansen graduated from Linfield with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2017 and went on to complete a master’s degree in education leadership and policy at Portland State University in 2022.
While completing her master’s degree, she served one year as a general assistant athletic training at PSU before returning to Linfield as an assistant certified trainer.
Bansen grew up in nearby Dayton and remains close with her parents and two younger sisters. She and her husband, William Bansen, live in Yamhill County.
