WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I chose Linfield University because of its challenging curriculum and the notoriety of its law program. The addition of a wrestling team was also a significant factor for me. I was excited to join a new team and contribute to building its history. Linfield's academic reputation and the opportunity to be involved in developing the wrestling program were solid incentives for my decision to attend the university.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means prioritizing my academics over wrestling. My primary focus is on the school's education, and wrestling complements that pursuit.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has had a profound impact on my personal growth. It has taught me essential life skills such as discipline, time management, and teamwork. It's made me more resilient and capable of handling challenges. Being a part of a wrestling team has also helped me build a strong work ethic and perseverance. These qualities enhance my performance in sports and translate into becoming a better-rounded and more determined individual in all aspects of life.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? In 10 years, I envision myself as a successful lawyer, having pursued my passion for law and social justice. I hope to have made a meaningful impact in providing legal representation for minority communities. Additionally, I aspire to continue my involvement in wrestling, whether as a coach or mentor, and remain committed to the values of teamwork and discipline I've learned through the sport. Ultimately, I aim to make a positive difference in the world by advocating for justice and equal representation.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN? Public Speaking The class was alright, but it has proven to be more helpful in the long run.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE?  My Mother because she was able to go to college and graduate with honors while taking care of my family and working a full-time job.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…  Be true to yourself because if you can't, you won't succeed in sports or life.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… Be able to have fun and learn what the sport can teach me in the wrestling room and outside.
