MOAHALUA HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Competed in varsity wrestling and judo.
State Champion in wrestling as a sophomore.
State Champion in judo as a sophomore.
State participant in wrestling and judo all four years.
Four-time State Team Title winner in wrestling.
Three-time State Team Title winner in judo.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in psychology.
Daughter of Danny and Sara Kukonu.
 
WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I got recruited by the coach and I enjoyed the small college appeal. I wanted to go somewhere that challenged my comfort zone.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete means being able to pursue the sport I love while getting the education necessary to make my future career possible. It means that I can maintain good grades and stay in shape while at a high education. It means that I get to find my community and learn balance in my life.
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports has taught me insane amounts of discipline and patience. It showed me how to push past my limits and to believe in myself.
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself hopefully starting a family and pursuing my dream career of being a sports psychologist.
