WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because it has a great nursing program and attending a Division III school allows me to further my education and play the sport I love.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield is important to me because I get to continue playing the sport I love while furthering my education. It shows I am determined and hard working towards my goals.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I’ve taken so far has been Global Health because the class was different every day. We learned about health in different countries, not just the one we live in.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My mom and dad have been the greatest influence because they have provided me with so many opportunities and have pushed me to do my best in everything I do.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... At the end of the day, it’s not always about the sport or winning and losing. It’s about growing as an individual and team so we can become better people.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... To work together as a team but also have confidence as individuals.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am able to manage my time well while making time for the things I love.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I am studying nursing in hopes to become a NICU nurse or a labor and delivery nurse. Linfield is helping me achieve this with their excellent nursing program and faculty that want to see their student succeed and they will do anything they can to help us.
