WHY LINFIELD? From my first visit at Linfield, I always felt so welcomed from everyone I met. The environment of the campus made me feel at home and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to play at such an awesome school!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means a lot of hard work with balancing school, practice, games and social activities. However, I really think it’s all worth it in the end because I get to play the game I am so passionate about and it will give me lessons that will last through out my life.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? I took In Search of a Good Life, which is a freshman writing course. It opened me up to an interest in philosophy and moral discussions that I never knew I had.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My mom has been the greatest inspiration in my life because she worked so hard academically when she was younger so she could get her dream job as a family practice physician. I hope that I will be just as determined as her. I love you, Mom!
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... The greatest principle or lesson that I have learned has been that every single player has a role on the team and no role is more important than the other.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goals are to always stay passionate as a student and as a player. I hope my team can create a culture of desire and grit.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have been very fortunate as a kid and always had sports in my life. I am just glad I do not have to give that up just yet!
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I hope to be a physical therapist one day and Linfield is really going to help me get my foot in the door by getting my degree in exercise science and getting to know people that are in the business already.
