WHY LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because I love the campus and environment that was displayed on my first visit. Everyone was so nice and truly showed compassion for the people interested in the school. I also loved the volleyball program, the coaches, players, and just about everything about it.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete is really a balancing act. Yes, the word student comes first and so should your grades and role in the classroom but also taking on the tasks of being an athlete and representing your school.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Being in sports has taught me so many lessons. It's taught me how to be a team player and to always believe and support the people around me. It has taught me to be grateful for the players, coaches, and most importantly, my family for supporting me in the ways that they do. It's also taught me commitment and that once I commit to something that I should never give up or quit. Self-discipline is a big thing I've learned through sports, and it has truly shown me that tough days make tougher people. Finally, sports have taught me how to be mentally tough and that I can do whatever I put my mind toward.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
Being two years graduated from Pharmacy school and studying more into pharmaceutical science background with hopes to make an advancement in cancer cures. I want to be traveling around the world and seeing all it has to offer as well as finding the perfect place to live. I also want to give back to my community for all that they have done for me by volunteering, donating, and speaking out to the younger generations about how they too can take on the world.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The best class I’ve taken at Linfield was Social Psych because it was really cool to learn what goes on in other people’s heads and the reasoning behind that.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
The greatest inspiration in my life is my dad! He’s truly pushed me to be the student athlete that I’ve become and always has supported me in anything I’ve pursued. He is always there for every game and been my rock whether the outcomes were good or bad. He’s been my number one cheerleader on the court since day 1. He’s also shown me that with hard work, confidence, and passion in my schoolwork that I can accomplish any career I set my mind to! Thanks to my dad I’ve turned into the kind-hearted, ambitious, confident, authentic women I am today.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
Never take anything for granted and just live in the moment before it’s over
:) .

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
My goals for my team are to win the conference and just prove to ourselves that we can do it. After that I want to go far in the NCAA Division 3 tournament!
