Linfield University Athletics

Shane Kimura is in fifth year as women’s golf coach at Linfield. He shares leadership of the program together with co-head coach Mitch Wilson.

Kimura assumed leadership of the women’s program from Wilson, who transitioned to head men’s golf coach before becoming Linfield's Director of Golf.
 
Kimura coached the Linfield volleyball program for 40 seasons, winning 676 matches and claiming five conference championships.
 
A 1978 Linfield graduate, Kimura is the longest tenured coach in the athletic department history. He began coaching the volleyball team while still an undergraduate.

Kimura and his wife, Donna, have two grown sons, Reid and Scott.
