WHY LINFIELD? I have always planned on going to a smaller school, that wasn't too far from home and Linfield seemed like the perfect fit. Growing up in Seaside, I have always loved being a part of a small community and I definitely will get the same aspect here at Linfield!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means being prideful of your school and working hard to set an example for other students and being a role model as a student-athlete.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? My favorite Linfield class I have taken is Financial Accounting. It is what gave me the inspiration to change my major to accounting and taught me basics when it comes to the language of business.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? Other than my parents, my greatest inspiration has been my pageant mentor Sandy Newman. She has instilled confidence, leadership, and a passion for community in me that I would not have been able to find without her. Her mentorship has been very influential and has helped me grow into the young woman I am.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... The greatest lesson I have learned is how to communicate and plan efficiently. Being a student-athlete for two full seasons is a lot of work, but being able to represent Linfield and play golf at a higher level is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... For my senior year, I think it is a great goal for us to score in the Top 4 in the NWC events. Our conference is very competitive for Women's Golf, and I would love to see my team compete well at those conference events. Personally, I am looking forward to making more lifelong memories with my teammates at practice and weekend tournaments.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I would like to have my own non-profit organization one day. Linfield will make it possible for me to achieve it by allowing me to get out into our community and figure out where I want to go after graduation.
