WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose to attend Linfield because of the sense of community. Everyone I met was very positive and kind, and I could tell they had good character. The campus was beautiful, and when I visited it was obvious that the faculty cared about their students. My coaches were very motivating and personable, so I knew Linfield would be the right place for me.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete to me means that I can put my all into any endeavor I put my mind to. It proves to me that I can set goals and achieve them. Having the opportunity to put full focus into multiple experiences challenges me and is all the more satisfying when I can accomplish certain things in the different environments.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The best class I’ve taken at Linfield is Philosophy of Sport! The professor is very interactive and kept me really engaged the whole class. We went through the ins and outs of the world of sports and helped me gain a new perspective for athletics.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports has made me a better person because it has taught me how to show respect, empathy, and how to become a leader. Through sports I have made many connections with different people, and it has allowed me to see a different perspective in many peoples' lives. I have also learned how to maintain a strong work ethic and how to be a role model.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAVE THEY BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
The greatest inspiration in my life is all of my teammates! Being a student-athlete can be challenging sometimes and seeing how everyone handles the ups and downs on my team inspires me to always stay positive and be a good teammate.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETIING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
The greatest lesson I’ve learned while competing is to take it seriously but always make sure I’m finding the joy in the little things. I’ve learned to always work hard but having the mindset that I get to play the game I love with all of my best friends has helped me have more fun each practice or game.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In ten years, I see myself taking the values I have learned from school and sports and instilling them into my career. I will have a strong work ethic and show compassion in my job and will be an influential person in my community. I hope to become a physical or occupational therapist, being able to offer advice and give back.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
Individually, I want to grow my physical skills and mentality to be of help to my team. I want to show up and be a good teammate each day and push others around me in practice. For the team, our goal is to focus on one game at a time and one opponent at a time. We are always working at our team chemistry and this year we want to bring it all together on the court and apply our team bond to compete hard.
