WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I liked the community feel of Linfield. I knew I wanted to go to a smaller university and the minute I stepped on campus I fell in love with the place. Linfield also has a math major, which is what I want to study.

WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? I’ve like all of my math classes. All of my professor in the math department are not only experts in math, but they’re also good people. They make going to class and learning fun.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means to me as not only representing Linfield but also the community of McMinnville.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a better person because it's taught me to work hard in everything I do. Rather that be on the court or off of it, to be the hardest working person in the group. It has also made me a better person because it has taught me how to be a good teammate which has led me to learn how to become a good community member as well.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? Both of my parents work so hard to help me be successful in life, and I’m forever grateful.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... To keep going and working hard. Sometimes, you can’t control the outcome of a game or a situation, but you can control how hard you work.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goals are to continue to show up, work hard and be the best teammate possible. Collectively, I want us to hold each other to high standards, give it our all in every practice and game and have fun. Winning a few more games would be a bonus.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? In 10 years I see myself settling down and having a family. I hope to be living on a farm in the middle of nowhere and have a stable job that I love to do.
