WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield for the strong connections I made with the coaches. Once I visited the campus, I instantly fell in love with the overall environment.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means pursuing excellence both in the classroom and on the court. It’s truly an honor to represent a community that really cares about its people and values all of their hard work and success.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a more well-rounded person. I’ve learned a multitude of skills such as how to work with different people, mental toughness, determination, communication, work ethic, passion and more. Through sports, I have gained experience and knowledge that translates in all aspects of my life.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? My favorite Linfield class so far has been Gender Issues in Sport and Education. I feel like I learned a lot in this class, and it was just really engaging and impactful.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? My parents are my biggest inspirations. They have worked so hard and sacrificed so much for our family, which has allowed me to chase my goals and have the opportunity to do the things that I love. At the end of the day they are the most supportive and compassionate people I know and they make me want to be better.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… One principle I have learned during my first year as an athlete at Linfield was that growth only comes during times of uncomfortableness.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… My goal is for our team to win a conference championship.
