Jeremy Vanderboer

Jeremy Vandenboer

Veteran basketball coach Jeremy Vandenboer is in his sixth season as an assistant at Linfield. His resume includes more than 25 years of coaching experience.

Vandenboer previously was head women’s basketball coach for four years at Mount Hood Community College, leading the Saints to back-to-back 20-win seasons. He twice led Mount Hood to top-8 finishes within the Northwest Athletic Conference and guided the Saints to their first playoff victory in more than a decade.

Prior to joining the Mount Hood staff, Vandenboer helped lead the Corban University men’s team to the 2015-16 NAIA Cascade Conference playoffs. From 2013-15, he coached boys basketball at Auburn Adventist Academy High School in Washington, leading the team to its first-ever state appearance.

Before coming to the Pacific Northwest, Vandenboer coached high school boys basketball, girls basketball and volleyball in Montana. He also served as an athletic director and physical education teacher for 11 years.

In addition to coaching at the high school and collegiate levels, Vandenboer worked with several AAU programs. He was the head coach of Triple Attack from 2012-13, and coached with the Mid-Valley Monarchs since 2017. His additional experience as an individual skills development coach has helped send players to compete at all levels of collegiate basketball.

Vandenboer graduated from Walla Walla University in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in physical education and a minor in history. He went on to receive his master’s degree in educational leadership in 2010 from Walla Walla University.

Vandenboer lives in King City with wife, Genevieve, and their dog, Titan.
