WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because I felt at home immediately at home when on campus. The team, coaches and atmosphere at Linfield is out of this world and I’m so blessed to go to a school where I feel at truly at home.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? t means going the extra mile to excel in school and on the court. It’s hard work and dedication but I wouldn’t change it for the world because the people I’m doing it with and for make it worth it.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? My ability to remain optimistic in difficult situations. As well as communicating with a wide range of people and acting as a peace keeper.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I would love to work in the sports wear industry. Linfield is the place I want to be to achieve that. They have a great career center and professors that truly want everyone to succeed and be the best they know we can be.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Leadership, which is a business class I took my junior year. It taught me that there are many leadership styles and it's important as leaders to know who your teammates are in order to be the most successful.  This class helped me a lot with being a leader and good teammate on and off the court.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Read and hanging out with friends and family. If find a good book, I can finish the whole thing in a day. I also enjoy being active, if I can get out once a day and get my body moving, then I feel healthy and accomplished.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Competing and improving my basketball ability more than the next athlete, but what you truly get out of playing these games at this level is deeper rooted that just dribbling a basketball. I've learned how to time manage, what hard work really means and most importantly what you can get out of putting in time and dedication into something you're passionate about. Once I play my final game, I'll really start competing and I’m thankful for all that’s basketball has taught me because of it.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career has been my teammates and coaches every single year. These girls have made such an impact on my life. From team retreats, to beating Puget Sound in a buzzer beater my sophomore year and to even the lows of tearing my ACL at the start of my junior year. We've been through it all together and I'm grateful and stronger for it. I love this program and all it’s given me.
