WHY LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because of their Track and Field program, and because the school had an optimal student to teacher ratio with a great community.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
It means a lot to me, a lot of students here at Linfield do a sport too which has created a greater sense of community for me.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has allowed me to keep my grades up so that I am able to compete.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself having a good paying job and possibly competing at the Olympics.

WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY?
The best class I’ve taken at Linfield so far was Physics with Professor Tianbao. The professor made learning in his class really enjoyable. It also taught me things that happen in life that I now know how to explain.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My greatest inspiration in my life has been my Dad, he is no longer here but when he was, he showed me that there are no limitations on what you can do and if you have a dream chase it.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
The greatest lesson I’ve learned in athletics is to trust the process, things don’t happen overnight, it takes time and discipline.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
As a linfield student athlete I want to continue to do better in the sport that I love along with making more connections with my fellow athletes and friends. I also wish to continue to exceed in academics and continue to be someone people can look up to.
