FRESHMAN
Participated in volleyball for the Wildcats.
Placed 13th at the 2024 NWC Championships in discus.
Best discus throw is 111-8.
Best hammer throw is 92-1.
MOUNT RAINIER HIGH SCHOOL
Member of the honor roll four straight years.
Completed an associate degree while in high school.
Lettered seven times in volleyball, softball and track and field.
Set the senior javelin record.
Member of league championship volleyball team as a senior.
Team placed second at the district championships.
4A NPSL honorable mention setter as a junior and senior.
Squad placed 6th and 4th at the state tournament her final two seasons.

Majoring in law rights & justice and psychology.
Daughter of Oriana and Roy Bañuelos.
WHY LINFIELD?
I chose to attend Linfield because I love the vibe, academics and athletic program. Linfield has a great reputation and provides great support and resources to help us succeed.
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete means a lot to me. This gives me a great opportunity to work hard in both sports and academics.
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports my whole life has made me a better person by teaching me teamwork, discipline and perseverance. It also helps shape me as a person by teaching me leadership skills, people skills and overall allows me to communicate better with others.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I see myself working in the legal field and hopefully a law school graduate.
WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY?
The best Linfield class I have taken is any SOAN course. It is very interesting, and we have great professors.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My parents. They are hard workers, raised seven kids and are constantly working and providing for us.

To put God first. No matter the wins or losses, if you prioritize Jesus you’re winning. So, win or lose lean on Jesus, because without him none of this possible.
