Ran a time of 29:54.70 in the 6,000 meters at the NWC Cross Country Championships.
Ran a best of 3:02.29 in the 800 meters.
Clocked a personal record in the 1500 meters of 5:53.72.
Ran a personal best of 22:00.65 in the 5K at the Linfield Open.

Daughter of Kim English and Sam McElfatrick.
Also competes in track and field at Linfield.
WHY LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because I wanted to attend a smaller school and participate in cross country and track at the collegiate level. I loved the athletic and academic balance of Linfield, as well as the campus and people.
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student athlete means working hard both academically and athletically. It means using the skills I have gained to help me in all areas of my life. It also means connecting with people on my team to make sure everyone has a positive and supportive experience, both on and off the track.
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Participating in sports has made me a better person because I have been able to make more friends and feel more involved with my community. Sports have also taught me the importance of teamwork, determination, patience, perseverance, practice, and hard work, which have all benefited me in the other areas of my life. Running has truly changed my life and helped me to become a happier and better person!
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I
In 10 years, I see myself being a pediatric physical therapist for children with developmental disabilities or teenage athletes. I also plan to continue running, either competitively or recreationally.
WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY?
The best Linfield class I’ve taken was human anatomy! It was very interesting and I enjoyed the hands-on experience during labs.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
The greatest inspiration in my life has been my family. They have always been so supportive of me and do everything they can to help me achieve my goals!

My individual goal is to improve every year. My main goals for the team are to support each other and each meet our individual goals.
