WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I see myself working in a top NICU hospital as a registered nurse or attending medical school studying to become a pediatric surgeon.
WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY?
The best class I’ve taken at Linfield has been human physiology with Sarah Coste. This was the best class I’ve taken because I got to study something I was interested in and would be using this information for the rest of my career. Sarah was also a huge influence in why this class was my favorite. She made learning physiology interesting, enjoyable and easy even though it was a hard class.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My greatest inspiration thus far has been my twin sister Morgan. She is someone who has one of the largest work ethics I’ve seen, she never lets anyone get in the way of her goals and aspirations. Morgan is also a collegiate athlete and has inspired me not to just become a better soccer player and better athlete but a better person overall with everything she has had to overcome along with what she’s been able to accomplish. The reason my twin has been so inspirational to me is because she is able to flourish in large amounts of adversity in such grace and confidence.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
The greatest lesson I have learned while competing on both the track and soccer team here at Linfield is that you really need to rely on your teammates around you. College athletics mixed with a time consuming and challenging major like nursing is hard and takes large amounts of energy. Having teammates, you can lean on and understand what you’re going through helps get you through the harder days.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
As a Linfield student athlete my individual goal is to always qualify in the 400m, but to also end my college career graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
