Biography

SOPHOMORE
Clocked a personal record in the 100-meter hurdles of 15.40 and placed 4th at the NWC Championship finals.
Jumped a personal best of 4-7.75 in the high jump.
Recorded a new personal record in the triple jump of 33-3.25.
Member of the basketball team for the Wildcats.
 
FRESHMAN
Letter winner in track and field and basketball.
Participated in the 100-meter hurdles at the NWC Championship, clocking a time of 16.61.
Marked a season best of 9.89m in the triple jump at the L&C Larry Byerly Invite.
Awarded 2023 Most Improved Player as a member of the basketball team.
 
CANYON RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL 
Eleven-time letterwinner in basketball, track and field and cross country. 
Played point guard. 
Scored a career-high 27 points. 
First Team All-IHSAA Great Basin in 2022. 
Third Team All-IHSAA Great Basin in 2021. 
Competed in 100-meter hurdles, 4x200 relay, long jump and triple jump. 
Set the school record in the 100-meter hurdles. 
Canyon Ridge High School Athlete of the Year in 2022.

Majoring in psychology.  
Born in Columbia, Missouri. 
Daughter of Allison and Ryan Roberts. 
Twin Sister Logan is also a member of the track and field team. 
Also competes in women’s basketball at Linfield. 
NWC Scholar Athlete.
 
WHY LINFIELD? 
The coaches and players were very welcoming and made going to Linfield seem like it would be a place I would enjoy. Linfield offers classes that I wanted to take, and it isn’t too far away from home.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? 
Being a student-athlete at Linfield means I need to be dedicated to putting my best effort into my sport as well as my schoolwork. 
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? 
Participating in a sport makes me more determined, helps me work well with others and teaches me perseverance and mental toughness. 
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? 
I hope to have my job situated and be settled down in a home to start the rest of my life after college.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY?
The best class I have taken at Linfield is Introduction to Health Psychology. This class was led by Professor Johnson, a new professor who I have had many classes with. This class gave a good introduction too many medicines and techniques used to treat others with mental or physical problems.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My father is the greatest inspiration in my life. He has worked through many hard things in the past and has raised an amazing family. He constantly shows me how to be a good person and lead a life that is beneficial to others.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
The greatest lesson I have learned while competing at Linfield is to use your trials and failures as motivation to improve.
