WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield for two reasons: their great track record with connecting and preparing student for future jobs and internships, and the opportunity to continue competing in athletics.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? I have always had a passion for competing and learning new things. These are both things that I've been lucky enough to pursue in tandem with being a student, in the past, and now her at Linfield. Being a student at Linfield was my first priority for college, but the amazing opportunity to keep competing and learning on the track team is what keeps my life balanced.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? In high school, I played sports all year round for four years straight while constantly getting stronger, learning and refining skills, and working with different players/coaches. All of the challenges I faced during that time gave me a depth of reference for who I am as a athlete, despite all other distractions or obstacles. All those years of dedication gave me a level of perseverance that allows me to strive for my goals.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield has been comparative politics because it challenged the way I thought about “ideal” political structures.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO…Hang out with friends, hiking, playing soccer or roller blading.
